Our Teachers

At a New Beginning Children’s Learning Center, our teachers place a large emphasis on making learning fun. We believe that play is the key to joyful growth, and that children’s first attempts at applying value systems, testing personal autonomy, and creating friendships are accomplished through play. It is the gateway to understanding their individuality as they learn to connect, cooperate, and explore.
Observing children at play is a powerful tool for educators, used to better understand children’s unique talents and needs so we can create a more personalized journey in learning for each child.

Our 5 Guiding Star Principles
Provide Safety
A child truly flourishes when they are safe to express, laugh, explore, and, most importantly, inquire. Along with a physically safe environment, we strive to provide emotional safety, while they learn to trust themselves and their environment.
Instill Possibility
Each child has unlimited potential. There should be nothing to prevent passions, talents, or dreams from
emerging. We listen to the heart and voice of each child so we can hear, understand, and instill a sense of wonder for the future.
Promote Confidence
We provide many opportunities for a child to find their own solutions. We don’t believe it is the reward that
counts, but the sense of accomplishment a child feels when they reach the outcome that should be celebrated. Whether it is a small defeat, or a spectacular win, confidence comes through doing.
Teach Independence
Learning independence is an important step in children’s growth and development. By teaching children to be independent, we equip them to make sound decisions, practice self-control, and develop resiliency.
When children know it is safe to interact with their environment without needing outside interference, they become empowered to pursue their goals with confidence and perseverance.
